We at RCP Technik GmbH & Co. KG, are pleased to welcome you to our website and to thank you for your interest in our company. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Personal data consists of individual details concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as the civil name, address, telephone number and date of birth. Because personal data enjoys special protection, we collect it only to the extent technically necessary. In this document, we meet our obligation to describe the information that we collect during your visit to our website and how we use this data.
Our data protection policy conforms to the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG). We will collect, process and store your personal data only in order to deal with enquiries and, if applicable, to process orders and implement contracts. We will only use your data for other purposes if you have previously given your consent and only for the precise purposes you specify when giving such consent, e.g. for information concerning offers sent by newsletter et cetera.

2. Anonymous / pseudonymous use of the website
You can generally visit our website without providing personal data. Pseudonymised user data will not be associated with the data of the person assigned this pseudonym. We do not generate pseudonymous user profiles.

3. Special website functions
Our website offers various functions. Using these functions will result in us collecting, processing and storing personal data. Below, we describe what happens with the data.

Contact form:

The data captured via our contact form will only be used to process enquiries received via our contact form. After the enquiry has been processed, the collected data will be deleted within six months.

Login area:
You have the option of using a separate login area on our website. If you forget your password or username for this area, you can have this information re-sent to you after entering your contact data (email address). We will collect, store and process usage data generated while using the login area only to fight abuse, perform troubleshooting and/or preserve functionality. The data will not be disclosed to third parties or used for any other purposes. We will only use the data collected in connection with the 'Forgot username and/or password' function for re-sending login information that has been forgotten.

Newsletter:
We will only use the data captured in the newsletter subscription screen for sending out our newsletter that informs you of our products and services. After you sign up for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation email with a link that you must click to complete the subscription (double opt-in). You can cancel the newsletter subscription by clicking the unsubscribe link at any time. We will delete your data within six months of you unsubscribing from the newsletter. Likewise, if you do not complete the subscription, we will delete your data within six months.

Questions and answers:
We will only use the data captured via our question and answer function for answering questions received via our entry form. After we have processed the entry, the collected data will be deleted within six months.


4. Data disclosure / specific purpose
We only disclose personal data to third parties to the extent necessary for us to fulfil our contractual obligations, including, without limitation, to carry out a contract that we have concluded. If you provide us with personal data and consent to its use, this data will only be used for the purpose on which the consent is based and to which you have agreed in advance. We will store your personal data only for as long as required by law or necessary for the intended purpose of data collection. Your legitimate concerns will be taken into account in accordance with the legal requirements. You can obtain information concerning the data stored about you from the controller. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except for the stated purposes of carrying out a contract and processing payments.


5. Statistical evaluation of visits to this website
We collect, process and store the following data when this website or individual files of this website are accessed: IP address, web page from which the file was accessed, name of the file, date and time of retrieval, volume of data transmitted and a failed/successful retrieval report (called a web log). We use this access data solely in anonymised form for statistical purposes and in order to constantly improve our internet service.
