The X2 Motion Simple is an extremely useful manual recording system for tripods, which allows for professional levels of image making. Perfect for capturing images of cityscapes and of rolling countryside, the device brings a whole new meaning to panoramic recording. Just as at home in the hands of professional photographers as it is with keen amateurs video makers, the X2 Motion Simple provides time-lapse recording that means the images created are a cut above normal operation.
The product is ready for panorama shooting, matrix image shooting, time-lapse shooting and trace playback. Indeed, the recording system is capable of video shooting with a real time manual function, if wanted, too. With such versatility, the X2 is great for videoing architecture, wildlife, crowd scenes and just about anywhere that has enough visual interest to demand a panoramic, or time-lapsed, shot.
Given the maximum load of the product's a pan and tilt head at eight kilos, the X2 Motion Simple is robust enough to hold many video cameras, so you won't have to worry about it not being strong enough to use – even when it is taken into some tough environments. The X2 is made from aluminium, so it remains a light item to carry around with the rest of your image making equipment, but is durable enough to put up with repeated use. The professional time-lapse recording device is compatible with two-axis manual operation, when used on a tripod. However, it can also handle full three-axis operations when it is used with the Rollei Shark Slider S1 or the Shark Slider S1 Bundle, an option well worth considering.
