Magnetic round filter ND4000
With the F:X Pro Magnetic ND4000 Filters Mark II We now also offer the round filter as a magnetic version. By being a so-called Neutral density filter reduces the light falling on the camera sensor, it offers the perfect basis for switching to long exposure photography. It is also an ideal complement to the F:X Pro Magnetic ND Set Mark II.
Depending on the diameter of the lens, the filter is mounted over the lens F:X Pro Magnetic Base Ring Mark II or one of the F:X Pro Magnetic Step-Up Rings Mark II.

The use of ND filters
- Representation of movements through longer exposure times
- Removal of moving objects from the image
- Emphasize the subject by blurring the background
- Increasing the aperture, reducing the depth of field

ND filter are available in different intensities and stops. A stop means that the amount of light hitting the sensor decreases by one stop. Depending on which filter is used and how many stops, the shutter speed must be increased by the same number of stops. Depending on how much light should hit the sensor, the filters can of course also be combined with each other. This means the exposure time can be extended even further. This means that magically drawn images can be taken with longer exposure times, even in sunshine. For example, moving elements in the image become blurred. An ideal example of this is the soft, silky-looking water of a river or sea, while stones in the water are sharply defined. It is also possible to make other people disappear in busy places and tourist attractions using long exposure times. The long exposure leaves only the immobile architecture in the image. However, you should allow enough time for such shots because, depending on the setting, the exposure time can take several minutes or an hour.
Application example: Only the filter is included!
