Of course, a good travel tripod must above all guarantee three things. Not only does it have to be stable and particularly light, it also has to be very compact.

For precisely this reason, we have decided not to accommodate the center column of our Urban Traveler tripods in the tripod ex works, which applies equally to the large and small versions of the tripod.

This has the decisive advantage that you don't have to carry the counterweight of an entire tripod leg with you if you don't want to use the center column anyway. If, on the other hand, you do need a center column, we are of course happy to offer it for sale here.

The minimum height of the center column is 15.5 centimeters - when extended, the maximum height is 32 centimeters. With or without a center column? That's entirely up to you.
