Rollei Sensor Brushes for cameras with an MFT sensor
The MFT format (Micro Four Thirds System Standard) developed by Panasonic and Olympus served as the successor to the digital single-lens reflex camera. Mirrorless cameras allow for substantially smaller sensors. Therefore the MFT format is only half as large as the well-known small image format. Thus you also need smaller sensor brushes to clean the highly sensitive image sensors. Large and small image format brushes would reach far beyond the sensor surface and would be unable to moisten and clean the latter at all. In the worst case scenario, the use of unsuitable sensor brushes can cause damage to sensitive electronic features.
Practical 10-pack of individually packaged special brushes
The Rollei sensor brushes for cameras with an MFT sensor were developed precisely for the smaller bearing surface of the new image sensors and are individually vacuum packed and dust-free. These brushes are ideally suited for dry and wet cleaning - in combination with the Rollei sensor cleaning fluid that is available separately or as a refill for the Rollei sensor cleaning set for cameras with MFT sensors. The sensor brush must be moved slowly and evenly over the sensor surface when it is used.
