Rollei Round Screw-In Filters
In addition to our professional rectangular filters, we offer high-quality round screw-in filters in many different options for the most popular lens diameters, ranging from 49mm – 82mm.
Premium filters - for exceptional image quality
The new Rollei Premium Round Screw-in filters are made from the incredibly resistant Gorilla®* glass by US manufacturer Corning Inc.
Ions are changed on a molecular level using a hot bath in an alkaline liquid and as a result, the surface tension is significantly increased, resulting in an exceptionally strong optical material.
Our Premium filters also have a special Luminance Coating that was developed by Rollei, ensuring the highest degree of light permeability, superb colour neutrality and effective protection against reflections.
Extremium filters - for the most challenging environments
For ultra reliability, our titanium-ring Rollei Extremium range ensures superior dimensional stability even when subjected to extreme changes in temperature and humidity, along with all of the optical characteristics and glass benefits of our Premium Range.
Whatever your requirements, the Rollei Round Screw-In Filters offer a no-fuss solution with extremely high colour fidelity and zero light leaks.
ND filters of varying intensities are used for long exposures and allow for more experimentation with depth of field in challenging lighting situations. Both Premium and Extremium Rollei filters are available in the three darkening levels, ND8, ND64 and ND1000, which can also be combined for optimal results.
Ultra-Violet light can have an adverse effect on the colour fidelity of your images. By choosing a UV filter you can reliably prevent this as well as protecting your lens elements from damage or contamination from dust and dirt. The UV filter can remain on the lens since it has no effect on its other optical features.
With a polarising or CPL filter, you can adjust the impact of light bouncing from reflective surfaces and water, increasing or reducing the effect as required. Rollei’s polarising filters can help to improve overall image contrast, and vibrancy by cutting stray light entering from up to a 90º angle from the source.
The Dark CPL filter combines the functions of a ND filter and a polarizing filter in one. To create long exposures as well as blur effects or running water under daylight conditions a ND filter is used. The polarizing filter reduces reflections on non-metallic surfaces and intensifies colours. The Rollei Extremium Dark CPL filter is available in three densities, ND 8, ND 64 and ND 1000.
