Rollei Extremium Round CPL Filter
Polarising filters survived the digitization of photo technology unscathed. The effects of CPL filters cannot be simulated by digital post-processing. The Rollei Extremium Round CPL Filter permits you to control the filter effect directly before and during the shot. Reflections and mirror images on transparent surfaces such as glass or water can be continuously reduced or reinforced again with a turn of the titanium ring. Within a 90-degree angle the Rollei polarising filter also ensures that the blue and green tones in nature and in the sky are intensified and still slightly increases contrast as well.

The Rollei Extremium Round CPL filter bears its name for a good reason: The combination of extremely durable Gorilla®* glass and extremely temperature-stable titanium connects optical quality and mechanical resilience on the highest level. The special glass from the renowned American manufacturer, Corning Inc., copes easily with even the worst treatment. The titanium filter ring provides for enormous inherent stability and one hundred percent fitness for use outdoors. The rays of light penetrate the highly tempered lens in an absolutely colour neutral and distortion-free manner. The Luminance Coating supplements the optical characteristics of the special glass perfectly and lends the filter surface impressive mechanical resistance to oil, dirt and water. In addition, this high-quality, optically neutral coating ensures that the characteristics of the original subject are also really captured 1:1 on the memory card.
Quality testing – it hardly ever gets stricter
Rollei Extremium round filters in the nine most prevalent lens diameters aren’t just made of legendary durable materials, they also have to undergo several quality tests before they go to our customers. A specially developed quality management system based on the AQL standard covers all phases ranging from development to release of the manufacturing samples to production and delivery.
