Rollei Variabler Profi ND Fotofilter ND2-2000
Time-lapse photos taken during the day make the use of photographic filters essential: depending on your desired exposure time, these filters reduce the amount of light that enters your camera. The limited options for configuring lenses for analogue or digital SLR cameras are simply incapable of delivering the effects that are desired. The more light-sensitive digital image sensors become, the more extensive the choice of darkening levels, usually referred to as ‘filter factors’ (ND numbers). The ND (Neutral Density) filters used to achieve this are uniformly coloured in a neutral grey tone. Typically, a photographer will carry ND photographic filters with a selection of ND numbers, so as to handle any kind of light level found in the field.
Versatile and compact: a variable pro ND photographic filter saves time and space
Complementing its set of three ND photographic filters in the fixed filter factors of ND8, ND64 and ND1000, Rollei also offers pro-quality variable neutral density photographic filters. The ND2-2000 ND filter is continuously adjustable to cover filter factors from ND2 to ND2000. The colour fidelity and homogeneous greys essential for producing convincing results are guaranteed by the 16x coating of the high-end Japanese glass used, produced in HD quality. The scratch-proof, water-, oil- and dirt-resistant circular filters are available in all popular lens diameters.
