1. Does the backpack fit in hand luggage when traveling by plane?

sling bag andFotoliner M In any case. At theFotoliner L it depends on the airline. It is accepted by most airlines, but its dimensions push it to the limit. In any case, the photo backpack should always fit in your hand luggage. Because the worst thing you can do is check in your camera equipment as baggage when traveling by plane. Because it can be damaged or stolen. Passport, laptop, camera etc. always belong in your hand luggage so you can be sure that it will come with you.

2. Is the backpack waterproof??

The seams are waterproof. The backpack itself is splash-proof. If you need even more protection, there is also a rain hood that is included. A small pocket is integrated at the bottom of the backpack, which houses the rain hood. You can take it out and pull it over your backpack. If you get caught in the rain with your backpack, you don't need to worry at first. A lot of rain would have to fall for the backpack to become permeable. But it only becomes really rainproof with the hood. On a photo tour through the rainforest you should definitely use a rain hood, and that's included.

3. What kind of photo equipment fits in the backpack?

That depends on the backpack. A camera with a lens fits in the sling bag. There would also be room for two more lenses, as long as they are not necessarily telephoto lenses. Then also for accessories such as filters, filter holders, remote releases, sun visors or replacement batteries. Of course, it always depends on what kind of tour you want to do. A sling bag is perfect for a city trip, because you get your tripod and the accessories mentioned with you. As soon as you want to take a telephoto lens with you, you should opt for the Fotoliner M. You can easily store the rest of your accessories there.

4. How do I attach my tripod to the backpack?

There is a flap at the bottom of the backpack that is a little hidden. You have to pull them out. You pack in two of the three tripod legs and fasten the tripod at the top with a clip. Then just tie it down and it's attached.

5. Does the backpack have a shortcut?

Yes, all three backpacks have that.

6. Why does the backpack open on the back?

This only applies to the Fotoliner M and L. They can only be opened on the back, which provides even more security. If it could be opened further ahead, a pickpocket might be able to tamper with it unnoticed.

7. How does the sling bag work?

Sling comes from English and means to sling. It's called that because you throw the slingbag forward to get access to the contents. It has a normal strap and an additional stabilization strap that goes across the shoulder across the chest. That's why it can be pulled under the shoulder to the chest. Then you throw it back and everything can be fastened again.

8. What is the lap belt for?

The lap belt on the Fotoliner M and L has three functions. He takes weight off the shoulders and then brings it to the pelvis. The second function: storage space for other items, a small zipper for banknotes or cards. It also serves as a stabilization point, as with the sling bag, to pull the backpack forward. Then you have more or less a vendor's tray and can simply change your lens in your backpack.

9. Does the backpack have a rain cover?

The classic photo bag is made of robust material and the camera is well protected by the upper overlapping flap. It will definitely withstand light and, above all, short showers. But it's not designed for a long march in the rain. A rain cover is not included in the scope of delivery and it is not available to buy as an option.

10. Are the zippers waterproof??

Yes, the zippers are waterproof.

11. Can I protect my camera from unauthorized access when I wear it?

In principle, he is already protected. Access cannot go unnoticed. In addition, the zippers can be secured with a lock.

12. What size is right for me?

It all depends on your stature. The Fotoliner L can be too big for some people. It takes up the whole back and also protrudes beyond it, so it is more suitable for taller people, but of course it fits an awful lot. Overall, one can say that customers with an average size can't go wrong with the Fotoliner M.

13. Does the backpack have a laptop or tablet compartment?

All backpacks have a laptop compartment. M and L fit laptops up to 15 inches. The sling bag is not designed for laptops. The point here is to have a very small backpack in which you can only store small equipment, i.e. the classic daypack. Here you don't assume that you want to take your notebook with you, since you can look at the photos at home in the evening. However, you can stow a small tablet in the sling bag.

14. What sizes are there?

We have thePhotoliner series in our range and also a few copies of thevintage series, which is intended more for small equipment. The Fotoliner series is the alternative for larger equipment.

15. Can the backpack also be used as a normal backpack when the photo accessories are not needed?

Yes, that is possible. In the Fotoliner M, L and the Slingbag there are partitions that can be adjusted. You can also remove them completely so that you are able to use the backpack normally.

16. How well padded are the risers?

A special feature of the backpacks are the extremely well-padded shoulder straps. This is very noticeable on long tours and is very important there. Our risers are very wide, so the load is distributed over large parts of the back. The padding is also particularly thick, so that the backpack can be carried comfortably. Especially if you also have a lap belt with you.
