Replacement filter seal for 100 mm rectangular filters

With frequent use and intensive filter photography, it can happen that the Filter seal, which our ND and Astroklar filters are equipped with as standard, solves the problem. Our Replacement filter seal 100mm for Filter measuring 100 x 100 mm offers replacements in such cases. Thanks to this, light coming in from the side is completely blocked and nothing stands in the way of your filter photography.

How to install the filter gasket 100mm

1. Clean the back of the filter so that no residue is visible on the filter.
2. Place the filter so the back is up. Note the placement of the label.
3. Make sure that the filter seal has two wider and two thinner sides.
4. Remove the foil on one of the two wide sides for approx. 3 centimeters.
5. Now place the filter gasket on the back of the filter so that it sits in the middle and one of the wider sides covers the back of the label.
6. Now remove the film completely and push it over the filter seal by 100 mm to press it tight at the edges. Be careful not to press the center too hard.
7. Remove the middle foam rubber from the filter.
